News Update and New Products

Big News from AFIC is that we are continuing to expand our R&D and Manufacturing in the UK. A second production line has been opened focusing purely on Colour Toner Cartridges.

Recent Product launches include toner cartridges for the DELL 5110, HP P4015, and LEXMARK E260/360/460

AFIC now supplies over 800 Image Master Products, enabling all customers to enjoy massive cost savings over OEM. All Image Master products are guaranteed to exceed or at very least meet the quality & yield of OEM products.

AFIC is an established UK Manufacturer and Distributor and we have been in business since 1984. The Company supplies the widest range of I.T. Consumables and Stationery.

 Our mission is for all customers to associate the AFIC brand with Quality Products, Best Value, and Total Environmental Responsibility. ALL Customers – The Individual, The Business Owner, Purchasing Departments, I.T., The Head Teacher, The Charity, The Corporate Procurement Manager, The Environmental Manager. 

We run a very comprehensive Empties Collection and Recycling scheme, assisting all organisations, large and small, with the measurement and achievement of Sustainability Objectives.  

Afic is now a supplier to many large corporate Household Name customers, assisting with massive cost reductions, and also very active in public sector and NHS. 

We do find that some I.T. Departments, particularly in public sector, have a reluctance to use re-manufactured cartridges either because of a previous experience long ago or a mis-understanding of the warranty situation. This view from .I.T. often influences Procurement. Afic works actively to clarify the production process and benefits, both environmental, cost and our own Quality focus and Guarantee. In a typical County Council, the savings to be achieved using Image Master Cartridges could amount to £500,000 per annum. 

Afic also works with many small charities as an approved supplier to the Charities Buying Group, helping to reduce costs, an integral part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy. 

The company continues to be active in the areas of ISO14001 and Waste Management, as outlined in our document "AFIC & The Environment", and reducing our own Waste and Carbon Footprint 

We are also active through our Trade Association at DEFRA and EU Levels, clarifying manufacturing processes and influencing legislation. 

During 2008 Afic regularly won new business across several sectors – Business, Corporate, Public Sector, Charity, Education, Retail – a mixed strategy giving us great stability.

In a recent Plimsoll Analysis of all companies in the I.T. Consumables Industry AFIC showed a financial strength well above industry average, scored very high on efficiency, and showed Sales/employee of £290,000 – well above the industry average of £198,000
